After a very, very strange dream on Sunday night--you know, the kind you get before taking a giant test, I woke up yesterday morning to take what was (up until now), the most important test of my life thus far. Its status as the most important won't last long as I am taking an even more important one a week from tomorrow, but still.
In my dream, my mom was driving me to my test. Why, I do not know, but she was. She got off on the wrong exit of the interstate and ended up in a park. I got mad, so I got out of the car and proceeded to get stung by a bunch of bees on my lips. At that point, I called my dad to come pick me up, and ended up being late to the test. He told the people at the test place that I had broken both of my legs, which was why I was late.
Despite my crazy dream, I got to the test location without a hitch, bee stings, or any fake broken limbs. I was significantly early because of test anxiety that something would happen on my way there, so I left an hour before I needed to be there, even though it is only about 20 minutes away. What can I say, I am my mother's daughter.
After practically signing my life away if I ever disclosed any information about anything to do with the test, I turned all my pockets inside out, pulled up my pant legs and jacket sleeves, took off my watch, was wanded with a metal detector, put my stuff in a locker, and took said test.
Annnnnnd I passed! Which means that once I graduate (which is up to the test I am taking next week), I will be eligible to get a job in the field I am in school for. At least in the state I am currently residing. I will be able to in most other states, but there may be a few hoops to jump through first. It's very exciting.
Afterwards, I got to go to a doctor's appointment with brother 3 and sister-in-law 3 to get an ultrasound on my niece/nephew. Baby is 12.5 weeks along and is super active and has a strong heart beat. It was so fun to see. They finally made it Facebook official yesterday, which means I can quit keeping my mouth shut (not that I really had anyway). So fun!
